Circulars for the association's AGM and
the Feast of Mae de Deus have been posted to members. If you
have not received your circular, please contact the General
Secretary.
We have also added some limited
information on this year's
Feast of Mae de Deus. Full details are in the circular.
7 March 2008 Although
not complete, a work in progress article has been added about the Vaddos
in Saligao. Have a look and let us know if you can improve it.
12 January 2008 It
has been a long time coming. That's right, the first article
on Saligão has been uploaded. We thought it was high time we
had a description of the village our life members hail from.
We hope you like it. Read
it and judge for yourselves.

With the Sparkling New Year's Eve Ball
done and dusted, you may feel that the Website is not going to be
updated with any new content until the annual Feast of Mae de
Deus. You would be wrong. The passing of the New Year's Eve
ball has meant that there's more time to be spent on tidying
up the website overall.
The
colour scheme, we had implemented back in November 2007, has
been checked against some of our less popular pages and
corrections made where things were not quite right. The
biggest changes have occurred on our guidance for Website
Submissions. Whilst doing
that housekeeping, we added information to every page. That's right,
technically we have no blank pages! Admittedly, in many cases
the addition has been a reference to our request to members to
provide information on subjects that interest them. Another
change that you may have noticed is that the Thank You splash
message on the homepage of our website has been taken down. If
you missed it, you can still view from our archive. Of
course, we are always happy to hear from users of our website,
members of the association or not. Let
us know what you think of the
work we do.

those who have supported the association throughout
2007!
For those you attended, we hope you
enjoyed the Sparkling New Year Eve Ball and look forward to
seeing again at our next function. Please let us know what you

Archive that stores our past homepages. Hopefully, you will
find it useful for reference.
